This is a remarkably disgusting feat where he basically apes progressive critcism of mainstream media has being an insular group of out of touch elitists who exist to essentially just talk publicly to each other and no one elseīut then concludes that why they're out of touch is not because they've enabled Trump and his supporters by whitewashing their concerns, over publishing their moral panics, giving uncritical space to Republican operatives under the guise concerned citizen in the coffee shop, the over identification of the working class as Republican by essentially only talking about the 'white working class' but always just saying working class, pretending Trump voters are all economically anxious, etc.
